We are in the midst of a revolution in the way information is transfered
and shared between businesses. Leveraging the latest in breakthrough
technology, like Simple Object Access Protocal (SOAP) and Extensible
Markup Language (XML), we create Internet-based services that will allow
you to expose standard interfaces that can be securely accessed by your
business partners regardless of their platform, and vice-versa. This is
truly the future of Business-to-Business information exchange, and we can do
it for you today.

Need to capture
streaming real-time data from your business partners for analytical
processing?
For Pearl Investments, we created a fully-automated, real-time trading system which operates in the corporate
equity marketplace. The system tracks every NASDAQ trade in
real-time, makes decisions, and
makes trades based on Pearl's proprietary analytical process, all without any
human intervention.
Need
a professional system to capture information from corporate users
within other organizations? We worked with Management
Research Group , a global company specializing in assessment and
training for corporations, to put their business online. The
Q-Online system allows MRG questionnaires to be ordered, completed,
scored, printed, and managed via the Internet using a web browser.
Need to pass data to
and from business partners for systematic status tracking?
Custom
data transfer components written by Standard I-O power the back-end of the
LiveLoad product for ProfitTools, Inc. This software allows clients of trucking companies to get real-time pickup and delivery confirmations, Estimated Times
of Arrival (ETAs), and current freight locations.

XML is revolutionizing
how applications
talk
to other applications by providing a universal data format that
allows easy transformation of data. XML Web services using the Standard
Object Access Protocal (SOAP) allow applications to communicate regardless of
operating system or programming language via the Internet. They
can be implemented on any platform and are defined through public standards organizations
such as the W3C. And with XML Web services, not only can
applications share data, but they can also invoke capabilities from other applications without
regard to how other applications were built. Sharing data and
functionality through XML allows them to be independent of each other while simultaneously
giving them the ability to loosely link themselves into a collaborating
group that performs a particular task. Standard I-O can author web
services for your business and/or integrate your software with business partners or
third-party web services.

For especially complex business to business integration, Standard I-O can
implement Microsoft BizTalk Server 2000. This software provides a powerful
development and execution environment that orchestrates business processes,
both within and between businesses. BizTalk Server can handle business
transactions that run as long as weeks or months.
BizTalk Server 2000 features include the ability to define business
document specifications and how these documents have to be transformed when
passed between applications, and the ability to monitor and log server
activity. The server provides a standard gateway for sending and
receiving documents across the Internet, as well as providing a range of
services that ensures data integrity, delivery, and security.
